Hello friends, to tell you the truth, I have been quite excited, since there are some plants in the garden that are bearing fruit, and it is only a matter of time before I can show them to you.

You know, I have a good feeling about this planting of carrots, needless to say that it is the first time I do it, but it is important a first time to learn from mistakes, or failing that, to teach others.

Here I show you how I made this seedbed and sowing, since the carrots are not transplanted, or at least I have not been able to do it for a long time.

First, I had to buy seeds from abroad, specifically from Colombia.

Recently, I had a problem with some ajo porro seeds, so I was wary at first, since the value of these, although affordable, makes me lose a period of time in which I can sow more.

All in all, 1$, quite affordable isn't it?

I liked that at least he had a chemical to protect them, and that he had apparently had a germination test done, giving then a 90% chance that they would come up.

All right, I took a few containers of soda that I once drank. Well, they must have been good for something, right? So, I just cut off the top of it.

I liked this container, although small, because it has the necessary height for the carrot to develop in a good way, approximately 25cm.

With a pair of scissors, I only cut the upper part of the bottle, as close to the top as possible, to take advantage of the space the bottle gives.

As is always known, it is essential to open holes in the containers we use so that they can drain the water, and this was no exception.

Then, I simply filled the container with black soil, one that I had to take from another piece of land, since the soil on my land is not suitable, as it has a lot of rubble.

Besides, it lacks the necessary nutrients for the plant.

Once this is done, you can see how small the carrot seeds are, just a pinch, you can have more than 15 future plants, so it is enough to take very few.

It is advisable to take into account the container where you are going to sow, in the end, as in my case, I will only leave one plant, so I do not need to leave many in the container, 7 are enough.

And then, just add a little more soil to cover them, but not too much, so that it is easy to sprout, which will be in 7 or 8 days depending on the weather.

And then, a light watering will be more than enough for them.

What is the result?

Well, it's been 7 days since I made this seedbed identical to the one I just showed you, and as you can see, the little seedlings are already sprouting, so you can't imagine how happy I am, because I hope to have my carrots.

This will be in about 80 days, it will be a short time as long as I keep planting many more.

Well, that's all my dear gardeners. I hope you are very well, and that your vegetable gardens are very nice.
