This week is whole packed tedious thorough cleaning for me, decided to thorough cleaning the rooms one by one, decluttering clothes, sorting out those which are still new to give away to charity, throw away the old, etc. Then, you realise how blessed you are to have many clothes sitting in the wardrobe, waiting to be used. Okay, not going to chase the wrong rabbit, I intend to write on our breakfast.
Tuna Coleslaw Sandwich
We used to do this when we were young. Recipe given by our teacher — made our own usual coleslaw with a secret recipe that was by adding a little bit condensed milk into it. Then add the can of tuna, mix well. She even added mashed boiled eggs into the mixture, making it into tuna egg coleslaw sandwich. I missed those days cooking and baking with my sister, making alot of trials and error, and our graceful mom would not scold us, allowing us to learn from our mistake.
Due to feeling overwhelmed with the amount of cleaning and tidying the house yesterday, we packed fast food KFC. It had been awhile and suddenly KFC tasted soooooo good! I wanted everyone to eat more vegetables so I ordered two large coleslaw. Turned out we could not finish another tub. Making good use of it for tuna sandwich today.
Ingredients
Tuna Can
Coleslaw
I used this one from KFC because we didn't eat yesterday night. Kind of watery but I think it would be fine after mixing. And it helped to cut down alot of work, because you know, if we do coleslaw by ourselves we need time to julienne the cabbage and carrots and onions. This saved me alot of time. I needed to continue decluttering the house. 😊
Steps
Mash the tuna chunk into as small pieces as I could
Then add in the coleslaw and mix well.
