Best ways to earn $SPS & My Strategy for $SPS Ahead...

Hey All,

It is good to start by giving some context to users - who don't know - What $SPS is all about? Therefore Incase you are not aware of SPS token, then let me tell you that SPS is the governance tokens for the Blockchain game Splinterlands. I invested in the game during its beta sale and since then continue to be invested in the project. The game has many in game assets that you can HODL to earn a passive income and if you are a gamer then it gives you the opportunity to earn as you play. In my case, I continue to HODL many in game assets like cards, license validator node, in game tokens like $DEC, $VOUCHER tokens along with the some pieces of land aka plots which is going to be the next big thing in the game of Splinterlands.

Now that we have set some context around the game. Lets look at the various ways that one can adopt to earn governance token of the game - $SPS. Here is a quick stats around $SPS::

  • Total supply: 1,069,576,216
  • Total liquid: 476,858,612
  • Total Staked: 592,717,603
  • Market Price: $0.017
  • Market Cap: $18,259,163

Based on the SPS Whitepaper there will be only 3 Billion SPS tokens in circulation, so far close to 1+ Billion tokens has been minted and close to 50% of the existing supply is staked which is giving and APR of 18+%. You stake $SPS and you earn $SPS in return. Hence this is one of the easiest way to get $SPS - Stake to get more $SPS...

My Current $SPS Stake - 248K+ Staked ...

Here is my current stake in SPS - where I have close to 248K+ $SPS staked. Currently, I am targeting to build my $SPS stake to 300K+ by the end of this year, 2023. Seeing SPS trading at its lower levels is a bit sad but then its an opportunity as well if you are thinking about long term investment and then capitalize over it at a later point in time. Let me tell you that this SPS stake I have build has taken me years. Therefore it becomes imperative for one to invest wisely and take decisions of buying a token as opportunity strikes. There were times when I had bought $SPS at a higher price and at the same time bought it at its lower levels as well.

Provide Liquidity to earn $SPS...

The other option to earn $SPS as to provide liquidity and earn SPS as rewards. In my case, I have provided LP for PKM-SPS & DEC-SPS pool on BeeSwap and am converting all the rewards to SPS and staking them to the main SPS pool. The strategy to grab as many SPS, I can. The PKM-SPS pool; has an APR of greater than 50%, which gets me close to $1.5+ of rewards daily and they all are getting converted to $SPS. The rewards from from the DEC-SPS pool is $SPS which again is staked back.

Swap - VOUCHER tokens to $SPS

The other way to get $SPS is to simply swap VOUCHER tokens for it. Folks who have staked their $SPS receive VOUCHER tokens as rewards on a daily basis. As of writing this article, I have close to 2+ VOUCHER tokens to be claimed....

At the moment since I have this GOAL for SPS - 300K+ staked. I am converting all my VOUCHER tokens daily for $SPS.. As a result it is helping me to come closer to my target for $SPS. The plan is to continue doing so until I reach 275K+ mark and then revisit what next to do for the VOUCHER tokens. Finally, the ways listed above is not restricted to these three but you can also buy $SPS from market directly. A person who has been invested into the Splinterlands project for a long period of time definitely has an advantage to buying the $SPS tokens in different ways that best suites them. For a new player or an investor to get started quickly they can buy $SPS directly from the internal market which is Hive-engine or can swap their other crypt assets for $SPS on pancake swap portal - Here... $SPS.. to the mooon....
