¿Mini Godzilla? - Weekly Battle Challenge

What's up? Here I am back with another battle for this weekly challenge. This week a lizard with a strong resemblance to Godzilla shows up to deal damage with his double strike. This is Grund! Not to be underestimated as in this matchup he even has Blast for the battle condition.

For the first place, Grund appears, the protagonist of this weekly battle challenge in this occasion's edition. This lizard with a strong resemblance to the old versions of Godzilla has "Double Strike" to take advantage of its 3-point physical attack power. Since there was "blast" for everyone because of the battle condition, it was good that I chose it to take advantage of its double strike.

Grund managed to take down Unicorn Mustang but it took him time because of the enemy Goblin Psychic that healed him several times. This powerful attacker went on to land a double knockdown on the last link of the battle, in round 3.

The unicorn held up quite well despite the heavy punishment provided by my team, it continues to prove why it is so popular with tanks.

For the second position "Mycelic Infantry" was as a secondary tank, his ability "Shield" makes him admirable in many battles, however, the large amount of magic damage left him a little bad. This added to the blast finished him off, "Goblin Psychic" in my team was the one who gave the coup de grace.

In my case Disintegrator was in second place to reduce enemy physical damage, which helped keep Grund standing. The blast that was bestowed on all monsters, though, doomed him. Regal Peryton's attack, activating his blast was the blow that finished off this neutral robotic monster.

In third place, the fast Regal Peryton, slippery like few others and with good stats to offer, was the enemy champion. He managed to take down my Disintegrator, but he fell due to the withering attack of Prismatic Energy and Mushroom Seer.

And it was precisely this mushroom, one of the pillars of the battle. Its "Silence" ability reduced a good part of the enemy's damage, thus tipping the balance in my favor.

In the fourth position there was a curious coincidence. In both teams there was the popular healer "Goblin Psychic". This powerful wizard gave a very good performance in both teams, but my team had some level advantage that gave him some extra life points.

In the rear Prismatic Energy and Centari Mage were my mages of choice. The colorful ball of power has Magic Reflect to return some of the magic damage received and the druid has Return Fire to do the same with ranged damage, however, neither of them shined much because of those abilities, since they didn't activate. It was rather their offense that made them stand out.

On the opposite ground Venari Knifer, the knife mistress was present, although she didn't do much given the impossibility of attacking from that position, while her partner with Taunt did some damage and centered my team's attention on herself for a while. Which gave the familiar unicorn with Void plenty of time.

Curious fact:

The current version of Godzilla, the one that divided a fandom between a giant gorilla and an overgrown lizard, doesn't look that much like Grund but the 1984 version does have a strong resemblance in the face.

My opinion:
This epic card has a lot to offer. I bought it a long time ago when it was at a much more affordable price compared to the current one and it has given me good results when combined with the summoner that provides Thorns to the whole team. Even better when there are conditions like Melee Mayhem.
