"I Love Rock 'n' Roll" is a rock song written by Alan Merrill, band member of the "Arrows", in 1975, who recorded the first released version. Later the song was made famous by "Joan Jett & the Blackhearts" in 1982. Even Britney Spears covered the song in 2001.
