Hi All, I like to learn by doing so I have decided to try to turn a piece of my work into art and see how it goes. I am hoping to take my learnings and create a helpful guide for those who want to follow. With that in mind I thought I would start talking about the steps I have done so far in case it's helpful for someone else and then I will move onto the competition I promise!
So to date, I have:
- Gone to nftshowroom.com
- Registered my profile including a portfolio link and social media link to verify. In this case, it was the same, Instagram
- Joined their discord channel and learnt it's going to take a few days and wait for a verification message on my social media link
- Wait 5 days, realises I don't know how to check Instagram for messages and discover it's been sitting there all along
- Check, send a message back and am now verified ready to go.
Ok so now to the prize! I don't which piece of work to NFT so I want to throw it out to the community! Anyone who drops a comment below with a vote can go into the draw and I will randomly choose a winning comment to get a free NFT of the winning piece. Now I don't know what it's worth but it costs 5 HIVE to make the first and 1 HIVE for every one made after that, so it's got to be worth... well I don't know but hey free NFT!
Ok quick rules I guess:
- Only one comment per person lets play nice
- However you can vote for multiple pieces in the comment, however, still only counts are one entry
- Not sure how long I will run this for as I want to get on and creating but once I get a good feel I'll let everyone know it's closed. Won't be more than 7 days!
- Only 1 NFT prize at the moment but I'll also look to invest the rewards from this post into it as well so potentially I might be able to hand out more (but you don't need to upvote to win!)
