What would you do for the person you love?

This is a question that if we think about it can be difficult or easy to answer, for example, in my case, when I was dating my wife. I promised her that I would even give my life for her, and although that moment has not yet arrived, I still keep promising this to her, since she is so valuable and important to me.

That's why I would like to talk about a Brazilian movie that, giving my honest opinion, has been extremely great to watch, I admit that at the beginning the story seemed a little trite, but the development and the ending were so shocking that right now I'm writing a review of a romantic movie. But if you want to know what it's about and why I recommend it, read on.

Esta es una pregunta que si nos ponemos a pensar puede ser difícil o fácil de responder, por ejemplo, en mi caso, cuando estaba de novio con mi esposa. Yo le prometí que hasta daría mi vida por ella, y aunque aún no ha llegado ese momento, aun sigo prometiéndole esto a ella, ya que es tan valiosa e importante para mí.

Por eso me gustaría hablar de una película de cine brasileño que, dando mi opinión de forma honesta, ha sido sumamente genial verla, admito que al principio la historia me parecía algo trillada, pero el desarrollo y el final estuvieron impactantes tanto así que ahora mismo estoy escribiendo una reseña de una película romántica. Pero si quieres saber de qué trata y porque te la recomiendo, quédate leyendo.

Depois Do Universo or in Spanish Mas allá del universo, is a Brazilian movie promoted on Netflix, it is directed by Diego Freitas, who has made other great independent works such as: Salt, Flush, My Dead ones and Way back Home. In addition, the movie is played by Henry Zaga as Gabriel e l Doctor and Giulia Be as Nina the pianist with a terrible disease.

The plot of this movie begins with Nina as a child, she is very talented on the piano and her dream is to be able to play in the most famous theater with the symphony orchestra of Brazil. But her dreams are frustrated when she faints at a recital and after a medical diagnosis it is discovered that she suffers from lupus, an inflammatory disease caused when the immune system attacks its own tissues, and although it attacks several body organs, in the movie Nina's Lupus only attacks her kidneys, forcing her to go on dialysis and wait for a kidney transplant. But her luck seems to change when she meets Gabriel, an intern doctor who works at the hospital where Nina is treated, Gabriel falls deeply in love with Nina and that love will move him to do the impossible in order to make Nina happy and save her, if you want to know more I invite you to watch the movie, I know you will like it a lot.

Depois Do Universo o en español Mas allá del universo, es una película brasileña promocionada en Netflix, es dirigida por Diego Freitas, que ha hecho otros grandes trabajos independientes como: Salt, Flush, My Dead ones y Way back Home. Además, la película está interpretada por Henry Zaga como Gabriel e l Doctor y Giulia Be como Nina la pianista con una terrible enfermedad.

La trama de esta película comienza con Nina cuando era una niña, es muy talentosa en el piano y su sueño es poder tocar en el teatro más famoso con la orquesta sinfónica de Brasil. Pero sus sueños se ven frustrados cuando se desmaya en un recital y luego d un diagnóstico médico se descubre que padece lupus, Enfermedad inflamatoria ocasionada cuando el sistema inmunológico ataca a sus propios tejidos, y aunque ataca a varios órganos de cuerpo, en la película el Lupus de Nina solo ataca a sus riñones, obligándola a hacerse diálisis y esperar un trasplante de riñón. Pero su suerte parece cambiar cuando conoce a Gabriel un médico pasante que trabaja en el hospital donde se hace el tratamiento Nina, Gabriel queda profundamente enamorado de Nina y ese amor lo moverá a hacer lo imposible con tal de hacer feliz a Nina y de salvarla, si quieres saber más te invito a ver la película, sé que te gustará mucho.

Now, my opinion about this movie are two words unique and great, if you watch Netflix movies you will notice that lately only movies come out where the romance is to lie down and that's it, but this kind of movies rescues the essential of the romantic cinema of before and reintroduces what moves people to do to love someone deeply, which is to make real sacrifices for that person, that's what Gabriel does, for example Nina when she feels depressed by her illness, he does everything he can to make her happy and even gets the hospital where he works to enable a piano for her to play when she is there. He also visits her when she feels like her life wants to end and is constantly there to lift her up.

Ahora, mi opinión sobre esta película son dos palabras única y genial, si ven películas de Netflix notaran que últimamente solo salen películas donde el romance es acostarse y ya, pero este tipo de películas rescata lo esencial del cine romántico de antes y vuelve a introducir lo que mueve a hacer a las personas el amar profundamente a alguien, que es hacer verdaderos sacrificios por esa persona, eso es lo que hace Gabriel, por ejemplo Nina cuando se siente deprimida por su enfermedad, el hace todo lo que puede para que ella sea feliz e incluso consigue que el hospital donde trabaja habilite un piano para que ella toque cuando este allí. Además, la visita cuando ella siente que su vida quiere terminar y está constantemente allí para levantarla.

This is real cinema, and of course the fact that it's some Latin cinema gives it an even cooler touch. I have been following Jorge's advice about watching independent films or films from other countries, since there is a lot of culture and good plots that need to be exposed and that are not seen because they are not from a big studio like the ones in the United States. But the movies that have been placed on Netflix lately from independent films have been excellent, in fact, I have a few to review. In addition, I have also seen some movies from French cinemas and they are also excellent, later I will bring reviews about that.

Now if we talk about the Soundtrack of this movie, I think it was taken to another level, because Depois Do Universo presents something that I never thought I would see, for example, they use Soundtrack of classical songs like Chopin, especially Op 9 Nr 2 which is an exquisite to hear, I remember when I played it in my piano lessons, also Supermarket flowers by Ed Sheeran, so it is another point to see this movie, because of its incredible Soundtrack. I can also say that the acting is never boring, it is natural and entertaining, especially when Nina plays the piano, it is extremely beautiful, so much so that I could not look away from those scenes.

Esto es cine de vedad, y claro el que sea algo de cine latino le da un toque aún más de genialidad. Y es que he estado siguiendo el consejo de Jorge sobre ver películas independientes o de otros países, ya que hay mucha cultura y buenas tramas que necesitan exponerse y que no se ven porque no son de un estudio grande como los que hay en estados unidos. Pero las películas que últimamente han colocado en Netflix de cine independiente han sido excelentes, de hecho, tengo unas cuantas para hacerles reseñas. Además, tambien he visto algunas películas de cines de Francia y tambien son excelentes, más adelante traeré reseñas sobre eso.

Ahora si hablamos del Soundtrack de esta película, pienso que se llevó a otro nivel, ya que Depois Do Universo presenta algo que nunca pensé que vería, por ejemplo, usan Soundtrack de canciones clásicas como de chopin, sobre todo la Op 9 Nr 2 que es toda una exquisites de oír, recuerdo cuando yo la tocaba en mis clases de piano, además tambien suena Supermarket flowers de Ed Sheeran, así que es otro punto para ver esta película, por su increíble Soundtrack. Tambien puedo decir que la actuación en ningún momento aburre, es natural y entretenida, sobre todo cuando Nina toca el piano, es sumamente hermoso, tanto así que no pude apartar la mirada de esas escenas.
