Home sweet home
I was pumped to hear @jongolson and @taskmaster4450 declare their intention to remain on Hive, saying "we're not going anywhere!" Hands in the air, I loudly exclaimed the same, adding: "I'm right with you!" It was a very inspiring moment, and I encourage you to give it a watch
After signing up way back in July, 2017, it's been a wild ride of ups and downs, while learning along the way. I've seen a number of people give up on this platform, only to return when the price spiked, then melt away once again when the numbers dropped.
When the ship's taking on water, we need all hands on deck. I have a lot of respect for those who've stayed and helped build this place throughout all of the price swings. I’ve put too much in here, to cut and run when things get tough.
I like to view my little abode on the blockchain as a humble little log cabin, warm and cozy with a stack of firewood ouside, and provisions stocked up ready for winter. Nothing fancy mind you, but a home with a lot of character, and built to last.

As I've shared before, Hive has reawakened my love for blogging, and is the principle reason I'm here. It's awesome being a content creator and producing something where nothing was before.
To all of you that are engaging with my posts and providing support, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your comments, upvotes, and rehives are being put to good use in building this account to hopefully one day, whale status, so that I can provide even more support to other bloggers as well.
In 2022, I'll be celebrating 5 years on Hive. It's s testament to the fact that I've planted my stake on solid ground and am here for the long haul. The only time I was away, was for a few weeks in early 2021 when I was going through a rough patch financially, and had a hard time even staying on the internet. I've been in rebuilding mode since then, and it's nice to be able to continue buying LEO and HIVE tokens again.
What we saw in this weeks runup, was only a tease in my opinion. I plan to be around when HIVE hits $10 and beyond, and we look back at this quaint period as a HIVE Black Friday sale. One day I'll wake up and say" "Holy crap, I'm a whale!" and be able to provide some real support to new members of our tribe. Your upvote is safe with me, as Jong and Task said: I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE! Are you?
