Hello Friends. Welcome to my informative post. Today I want to discuss leadership vs Management. Well friends the word leader or managers is the most commonly used words in the words of business today. And they often used interchangeably.

But have you ever wonder what the words really means. To be a better leader or to have a good managerial job, if you have wonder over these questions, I would really request to you to give time to my post. because today we will discuss in detail about Leadership and Management

Management

As you must have heard this word. A number of times probably in your studies, probably from somebody else.

A manager is a person whose activities involves the following

Planning
Organizing
Directing
Controlling

By looking at these words, you might wonder whether a manager is also a leader. Well all managers are not leader, but all leaders can be managers.

Some of managers can become leader. If and only if they assume their responsibilities. Which is inspiring of people, motivating them to achieve the goals. Well planning, directing and controlling are something which is very very important for a manager.

A manager at the end of the day is only doing an administrative job he is not somebody who uses his mind of own, he is not somebody who looks at his own self, while he is performing his duties.

There are certain responsibilities and duties that are giving to a manager. And only has to do administer the duties and responsibilities. And employee of the organization might want to follow a manager only because of fear or responsibilities. And he is just doing the job by following the orders of a manager.

Leadership:

The term leader have been there in times in memorial. You might heard the word leadership. Or how to be a good leader. In a lot of books or in a lot of people who might be leader themselves.. if you have ever wanted to be let’s
understand:

The process through which leaders influence the values, behaviors and attitude of others. . A leader is made , a leader is born. You might also say something like this, a leader is somebody who always aquires the skill set of a good leader. A good leader is actually different from the manager, because of the simple fact.

A great leader has always his own personality and his own way of doing things which really charm the people around him. Not all leaders and managers. In fact I would like to inform you about this thing that leader do not necessarily have authoritative position in an organization. .

They might learn be head of a team. They might be a head of a team. And might not be even a very important position. In an organization. And regular employee can also be a good leader. So leadership is not always about authority. Or not always about the position you might occupy in an organization
