I found a yellow star in my home. it is the flower petal of the Mussaenda flower. Or we called it Bunga Nusa Indah in Bahasa Indonesia.
If you happen to have seen the flower, you could be mistaken about which one is the real flower. The overall Mussaenda flower consists of 4 bigger colorful sepals usually white or bright red. But the real flower consists of 5 petals that resemble a star form.
The one I have at home is actually a hybrid type of Mussaenda because of the color and the shape of its sepals. And apparently, the most cultivated of all the species.
