The Plaza de la Mujer, a relatively new site in the city, was formerly a government building that was imploded because its structure was no longer safe.
In these images is what used to be a military barracks, nowadays it is the headquarters of the Dean of Art of the Lisandro Alvarado University and at the other end of the museum of Barquisimeto.
In this building, where the museum of Barquisimeto is located, was the first hospital of the city, which is being restored with the participation of the students of the deanship of Art.
This was the cathedral of Barquisimeto in the past, curiously the cathedrals in Venezuela are in front of the Bolivar square, this city is the exception.
The San Francisco church is surrounded by colonial houses, which maintain their external and internal structure of the first houses that existed in the city.
In front of the church, the Plaza Francisco de Miranda, is a very quiet place, where calm reigns despite being a few blocks from the busiest shopping area of the city.
Thanks to the invitation of my friend @damarysvibra I came to participate in this contest organized by the community of @CCh, in which I gladly decided to perform, and show the places that I like the most in Barquisimeto.

La plaza de la mujer, es un sitio relativamente nuevo en la ciudad, antiguamente existió un edificio gubernamental que fue implosionado debido a que sus estructura ya no era segura.
En estas imágenes esta lo que antiguamente fue un cuartel militar, actualmente es la sede del Decanato de Arte de la Universidad Lisandro Alvarado y al otro lado un extremo del museo de Barquisimeto.
En esta edificación donde funciona el museo de Barquisimeto fue el primer hospital de la ciudad, el cual esta siendo restaurado con la participación de los estudiantes del decanato de Arte.
Esta fue la catedral de Barquisimeto de antaño, curiosamente las catedrales en Venezuela quedan frente a la plaza Bolívar, esta ciudad es la excepción.
La iglesia San Francisco esta rodeada por casa coloniales, las cuales mantienes sus estructura externa e interna de las primeras viviendas que existieron en la ciudad.
Frente a la iglesia la Plaza Francisco de Miranda, es un lugar muy tranquilo, donde reina la calma a pesar de estar a escasas cuadras del zona comercial mas movida de la ciudad.
Gracias a la invitación de mi amiga @damarysvibra llegue para participar en este concurso convocado por la comunidad de @CCh, en la cual gustosamente decidí realizar, y mostrar los sitios que más me agradan de Barquisimeto.
