hi dear Hivers! today I want to share you a new javascript mini game I've made.
This one is inspired by the art of Vincent van Gogh. Most of his paintings are linked to the impressionism style, as he used this diffuse strokes to create soft edges and transmit feelings from landscapes and city scenes.
I'm going to take for inspiration these paintings:
¡Hola queridos Hivers! hoy quiero compartirles un nuevo mini juego de javascript que he hecho.
Este está inspirado en el arte de Vincent van Gogh. La mayoría de sus pinturas están vinculadas al estilo del impresionismo, ya que utilizó estos trazos difusos para crear bordes suaves y transmitir sentimientos en paisajes y escenas de la ciudad.
Voy a tomar como inspiración estas pinturas:
The Starry Night (la noche estrellada) / Wheat Field with Cypresses (Campo de trigo con cipreses) / Café Terrace at Night (Terraza de café por la noche) / sunflowers (girasoles) / self portraits (autorretratos)
so first I'm drawing the backgrounds, I'm drawing a small portion inspired by the paintings, and it will repeat as tiles in all the background, and the transition between the tiles. I'm drawing two variants for each tile, so it will add motion like painting strokes. I'm drawing all in Adobe Illustrator with the mouse! so this takes some time.
así que primero estoy dibujando los fondos, estoy dibujando una pequeña parte inspirada en las pinturas, y se repetirá como mosaicos en todo el fondo y la transición entre los mosaicos. Now I have to draw our character! it will be a space ship, like that old arcade shooter games.

Each stage will have a different boss to defeat! so I'm drawing the enemies.

and of course! I have to draw the intro, the winning and the losing screens!

and eveything is ready now for coding the game in Javascript!
