Nature follows its own rules. As the earth moves around the sun, similarly it moves in its own axis and rotates once every 24 hours(23 hours and 56 minutes to be exact). And that is why there is night after day and dawn after night. So, when I was very young, when I didn't get familiar enough with science, I used to wonder where the sun sets every evening and why it rises again the next morning. Again, when the moon rises at night, why is its light so sweet while the sunlight is so intense. The fact that the moon has no light of its own was still not understood in my little intellect. Although I have been interested in studying planetary science when I was a child, fate drove me to read chemistry.
The love of planets and stars is still evident in me. So, whenever I see sunrise and sunset, I enjoy it wholeheartedly. A beautiful sunset view is able to take away your frustration or fatigue all day.
I am telling you the view of the sunset on one of the most tiring days of my life. Several weeks ago I left Dhaka for South Bengal in my car. Usually by bus I cross the Padma river by Paturia ferry. But this time as I was going by private car, I decided to cross the river Padma by Mawa ferry to save time. When I reached the ferry terminal found a huge traffic jam. We reached the ferry terminal at 9 am and were able to board the ferry at 6 pm. Many ferries were shut down due to the abnormal rise in the water level of the river Padma and I did not know that information. However, the body reached the last stage of its fatigue due to the hot, humid weather and mental tension of the day.
When I got on the ferry, I looked up at the western sky and saw the sun was getting ready to set. Seeing such a beautiful view of nature, it seemed that all my tiredness of the day was gone in a moment. There are truly some amazing abilities in nature that can change your physical and mental state in an instant.
Sunset scenes vary from place to place. When the sun goes down through the trees towards the horizon, the view of the scenario and the view of the sunset of the river and the sea is really different. Although some similarities can be found between the sunset of the river and the sea. In fact, if we observe closely, it is clear that there is a big difference. There must be a difference between the setting of the sun through the waves of the ocean and the setting of the sun through the water of the cool river. I have had the opportunity to enjoy these two types of sunsets in two places and the two are extremely amazing. Today’s sunset is from Padma river.
