I am still baffled by how limited people on YouTube talk about Hive, and the associated projects.
Since Hive's value depends on its user base and the growth of the innovative services within it, it is essential that the words get out there to bring more people in to use and innovate in Hive.
For most retail crypto enthusiasts, YouTube is the place where information about cryptocurrencies and blockchain is acquired. So it makes sense that we can more easily find the Hive converts there.
My initial look at Hive's YouTube presence suggests that things are not rosy there.
Perhaps that's because I simply type "Hive" as a search keyword.
Things got more interesting when I use search terms like "Hive LeoFinance", "Hive PeakD", and "Hive Ecency".
These are what I found:
Hive Blockchain Tutorial | How To Earn Money With Hive, LeoFinance & SoMee by Mike D Crypto.
How To Use Hive, LeoFinance, 3Speak, & More | EP395 by Scott Cunningham
Unfortunately, they can be pretty dated and lack the vibrancy of a serious YouTube channel.
Then I also stumbled upon what I believe is @khaleelkazi's YouTube channel, featuring the folks at LeoFinance.
At least this channel is updated, with the latest video posted a week ago.
It is a pity that it has only 45 subscribers as of now!
More of us Hivers should subscribe and blow up the channel! This way more people would hear about Hive and LeoFinance.
A two-cents worth suggestion...
In fact, maybe the Hive community can collectively form a YouTube Channel that votes for a weekly set of videos published in 3Speak to publish. Ads revenue, if any can go back to video originators and the voting community.
This way we might be able to introduce Hive to more people on YouTube!
