Un saludo a mi gente linda de Nedleworkmonday, esta semana ha estado bastante activa para mí, aquí en mi país ya inicio la navidad y muchos ya comenzaron a recibir sus aguinaldos. Mientras tanto en mi edificio ya están pintando y estamos pensando en pronto decorar porque el tiempo se está pasando volando y lo que antes era un mes ahora es una semana. No sé si es que la vida se volvió así, el tiempo se redujo o fuimos nosotros que comenzamos a correr y nuestra viuda se volvió eso “una carrera contra el tiempo”.
¿Y ustedes como se están preparando para la navidad? Me imagino que dentro de poco comenzaremos a ver muchos proyectos para decorar nuestros espacios.
Pero hoy les vengo hablar de otra cosa; todos sabemos que nuestras entradas han mermado un poco debido a la baja de la moneda, por eso debemos buscar otras entradas de dinero y que mejor que hacerlos sacándole provecho a esos dones que Dios nos regaló desde el mismo momento en que nacemos. Sabiduría, inteligencia, creatividad, son las algunas de las características que nos distinguen a todas las personas integrantes de esta maravillosa comunidad, así que esa es la intención de este post de hoy, invitarlos a crear cosas lindas para vender a nuestros familiares, amigos y así ir formando nuestro emprendimiento.
Desde hace muchos años me han gustado las manualidades y al quedarme de un momento a otro desempleada me tuve que reinventar; fue gracias a unas grandes amigas que la vida me dio que me animaron a sacarle provecho a las cosas que yo hacía. Ellas siempre veían que donde quiera que yo iba me llevaba hilos para tejer, me la pasaba viendo revistas y hablando con otras personas que tenían los mismos gustos que yo, de las cuales aprendí también muchísimas cosas. Estas amigas como les dije, fueron mis primeras clientes, me decían que les hiciera toallas bordadas, mantas para bebés, juegos de baño, cintillos tejidos, gorros y así comencé a darme cuenta que tenía potencial para esto.
El día que tomé la decisión de lo que quería hacer con mi vida pensé en mejorar la calidad de mis trabajos, si me iba a dedicar a esto debía hacerlo bien, entonces comencé a realizar cursos de preparación, me relacioné con muchas personas a las cuales les gustaba lo mismo que a mí y de esta manera dio inicio a una aventura que lleva 10 años.
Internet es otra herramienta importante, allí podemos conseguir una infinidad de material que está disponible para que sea usado y le saques provecho.
Hoy les vengo a mostrar una de esas cosas sencillas que me la encargan mucho, se trata de una funda bordada con la oración del Ángel de la guarda y el nombre del bebé. Cuando la gente tiene poco presupuesto pero quiere quedar bien con la persona a la que le va a regalar encarga este tipo de detalles personalizado que a todo el mundo le encanta. En verdad han sido todo un éxito porque es más económico que un cojín, el cual lleva relleno y encaje.
Esta funda que hoy les muestro el vendí ayer por 10 dólares, esta es una entrada excelente para una persona como yo que está en casa todo el día. Pero también se pueden vender muchas cosas como esta y obtener ingresos para comprar esas cosas que nos gustan, también para colaborar en casa con los gastos, ahorrar o simplemente mantener la mente ocupada haciendo lo que nos gusta.
Paso a paso
Lo primero que hacemos es cortar la tela etamina (tela especial de bordar en punto de cruz) En este caso mide 13x30 centímetros. Siempre antes de cortar esta tela debes haber tomado en cuenta la cantidad de puntos o cuadritos que lleva tu diseño, tanto el Ángel, la oración y el nombre deben estar previamente medidos.
Luego tomamos tela blanca popelina o piquet para completar el cuadro, yo los corté de 8x30.
- Cuando tenemos nuestro cuadro bordado con sedalinas, lo unimos la la tela unicolor, luego colocamos los encajes o pasa cintas. Te sugiero que los asegures muy bien antes de pasar la máquina para que no se mueva.
- Cuando ya tenemos esta cara de la funda lista vamos a cortar en base a esa medida un cuadrado de tela blanca que hará parte de la cara posterior.
- Ahora vamos a cortar un trozo de tela para combinar, que mida 14x27 centímetros, lo doblamos a la mitad para que esa pestaña de la funda quede de 7 centímetros. Enfrentamos por el lado derecho y pasamos costura recta y zigzag. Hacemos el mismo procedimiento con la tela blanca que acabamos de cortar.
Solo nos queda ni frente con frente de la cara frontal y posterior de la funda y unimos bien con alfileres para que no se mueva. Todo debe estar muy bien medido y cortado para que coincidan en la unión de las pestañas.
Vamos a la máquina, pasamos costura recta y zigzag, volteamos y listo.
Como ves es muy fácil de hacer, la puedes combinar como mejor te guste y colocarle el bordado que quieras. Todo depende de si es hembra o varón.
Los invito a invertir un poco de tiempo y dinero en aprender cosas nuevas, eso jamás será una pérdida, por el contrario, te abrirá las puertas para conseguir más clientes porque cuando alguien queda satisfecho con lo que uno hace de seguro te recomendará con sus amistades. Este tipo de detalles sirven para regalar en el nacimiento de un bebé, cumpleaños, baby shower y más.

This cover that I show you today I sold it yesterday for 10 dollars, this is an excellent entry for a person like me who is at home all day. Step by step
The first thing we do is to cut the etamine fabric (special fabric for cross stitch embroidery). In this case it measures 13x30 centimeters. Then we take white poplin or piquet fabric to complete the picture, I cut them 8x30.

When we have this side of the cover ready, we will cut a square of white fabric based on this measurement, which will be part of the back side.
- Now we are going to cut a piece of fabric to combine, measuring 14x27 centimeters, we fold it in half so that the flange of the cover is 7 centimeters. We face it on the right side and sew a straight and zigzag seam. We do the same procedure with the white fabric we just cut.
Now we only have to face the front and back sides of the cover and join them well with pins so that they don't move. Everything must be very well measured and cut to match the union of the tabs.
We go to the machine, pass straight and zigzag stitching, flip and ready.
As you can see it is very easy to make, you can combine it as you like and place the embroidery you want. It all depends on whether it is female or male.
