Un poco de mi
Mi nombre es Karen Steele, tengo 27 años, soy Licenciada en Educación Integral y también orgullosamente mamá primeriza de un bebé de un año de edad; su nombre es David Guillermo es un milagro de Dios ya que no podía tener hijos por un problema en mis ovarios. También Soy fiel creyente de Dios y el propósito que tiene para mí vida, la cual me regaló una hermosa familia: mi esposo y mi hijo son por lo que lucho día a día.
A little about me
My name is Karen Steele, I am 27 years old, I have a degree in Comprehensive Education and also a proud new mother of a one year old baby; His name is David Guillermo. It is a miracle of God since I couldn't have children because of a problem with my ovaries. I am also a faithful believer in God and the purpose he has for my life, which gave me a beautiful family: my husband and my son are what I fight for every day.
Lejos de mi tierra y de mi familia
Quiero compartirles un poco lo que ha sido mi vida en los últimos años. Actualmente soy inmigrante venezolana. Estoy viviendo hace 3 años en Colombia. Ha Sido algo difícil pero poco a poco de la mano de Dios hemos salido adelante apoyándonos como familia y enfrentando cada obstáculo con la mejor actitud y disposición para emprender.
Ya casi más de tres años que salí de mi país, al que extraño mucho. Allá tengo a toda mi familia todavía: mis padres, mis hermanos y a mi sobrinita Kiara Alessandra (que aún no la conozco). La cual los extraño con toda mi alma y corazón, pero sé que todo pasa por alguna razón, para crecer como persona y valorar cada momento en familia, espero volver pronto a estar con ellos, para que mi bebé los conozca.
Far from my land and my family
I want to share with you a bit what my life has been in recent years. I am currently a Venezuelan immigrant. I have been living in Colombia for 3 years. It has been somewhat difficult, but little by little from the hand of God we have come forward supporting each other as a family and facing each obstacle with the best attitude and willingness to undertake.
I left my country for almost more than three years, which I miss a lot. I still have my whole family there: my parents, my brothers and my little niece Kiara Alessandra (who still don't know her). Which I miss them with all my heart and soul, but I know that everything happens for a reason, to grow as a person and value every moment as a family, I hope to be with them again soon, so that my baby knows them.
Mi pasión
En cuanto a mi ámbito profesional soy profesora Licenciada en Educación Integral graduada en Venezuela. Amo mi carrera, aunque sé que trabajar con niños no es fácil, ya que cada uno tiene su personalidad, formación, hábitos y cultura diferente. Por ello es necesario hacer las cosas no por ocupar un puesto de trabajo, si no hacer las cosas con amor, respeto, vocación, dedicación, paciencia, creatividad y esfuerzo.
Me da mucha satisfacción ver a cada uno de mis estudiantes crecer y aprender. Me llena de orgullo aportar a la formación de las futuras generaciones.
Actualmente no estoy laborando en los colegios por la pandemia del Covid-19 (las escuelas cerraron o están virtuales) ya están retomando poco a poco las clases presenciales con todos los protocolos de bioseguridad. Estoy aprovechando y dedicando mi tiempo para la formación de mi hijo y llevar las labores del hogar.
En estos momentos estoy dando clases en una escuela dominical de una iglesia, dónde imparto las enseñanzas basadas en la biblia, para poner en práctica la fé y el amor de Jesús en sus vidas.
My passion
Regarding my professional field, I am a professor with a degree in Comprehensive Education graduated in Venezuela. I love my career, although I know that working with children is not easy, since each one has their own personality, training, habits and different culture. For this reason, it is necessary to do things not to occupy a job, but to do things with love, respect, vocation, dedication, patience, creativity and effort.
It gives me great satisfaction to see each of my students grow and learn. It fills me with pride to contribute to the formation of future generations.
Currently I am not working in schools due to the Covid-19 pandemic (schools closed or are virtual) and they are gradually resuming face-to-face classes with all biosafety protocols. I am taking advantage of and dedicating my time to the formation of my son and to carry out the housework.
At the moment I am teaching in a Sunday school of a church, where I teach the teachings based on the bible, to put into practice the faith and love of Jesus in their lives.

Estoy motivada a desarrollar mi blog Blue1701ocean en esta increíble comunidad, ya que ella puedo expresarme, aprender y compartir con ustedes. El nombre de mi blog hace referencia a una de las tantas cosas maravillosas de Dios: el océano azul, su dimensión y profundidad son increíbles. El océano alberga la vida de millones de seres vivientes y a pesar que divide grandes continentes, nos une como Naciones.
Mi lugar favorito es la playa, apreciar las olas, la majestuosidad del océano y del cielo azul reflejado en el mar me da tranquilidad.
What does my username mean?
I am motivated to develop my Blue1701ocean blog in this incredible community, as she can express myself, learn and share with you. The name of my blog refers to one of the many wonderful things about God: the blue ocean, its size and depth are incredible. The ocean houses the life of millions of living beings and although it divides large continents, it unites us as Nations.
My favorite place is the beach, appreciating the waves, the majesty of the ocean and the blue sky reflected in the sea gives me peace of mind.
