It's a great day out here and it's my pleasure to share with you today the making of this simple project for my medications

This simple project can also be useful for someone just as it is to me, there are some people out there who takes medication at a specific time of the day and for this reason they have to go around their daily activities with these medications in their bag or purse, so instead of having in scattered in the bag where it can be affected or contaminated by other items, it is better to have them packed in a case/ pouch like this very one I made, you can see how well organized it is and very easy to access when needed. I made this for myself and it is very useful.

It is very simple and easy to make, with just few steps, you can achieve this from left over/ pieces of fabrics.

Let's get started with the cutting and sewing process.

I measured 11 x 6.5" from two different pieces of fabric and I cut out 2 pieces each.

I also cut out elastic band of 0.5 x 4"

The elastic band was folded in two and inserted in the main fabric, right side to right side and it was sewn together round leaving an opening by the side for it to be turned inside out

The other fabric was placed together right side to right side and sewn together as well leaving an opening at the side for it to be turned inside out.

After sewing, both were turned inside out and neatly ironed, then I top stitch on both round to cover the opening by the sides.

I folded the other fabric in by 2" and placed it on the main fabric with 1" away from the base and 1" away from the top just as seen below.

I sew it down on both sides and the base to make it firm, then I divide in 3 part for the pocket.

I sew on the lines I made and that was it.

Finally, I inserted my medications in it and folded it for me to know where to fix the button to hold it together, I located the spot and I fixed the button on it with my hand needle and thread.

This can now be kept safe and easily accessible in my bag, I hope you like this project and it's usefulness.

Thanks for your time, support, comment and encouragement. Until my next post.
