Auto, si vamos al origen de la palabra tenemos que la misma refiere a algo que se gestiona o se mueve por sí solo. Se acuña originalmente el término a un vehículo. En este sentido, vemos cómo encaja el término movilidad.
Cuando hablamos de crecimiento personal y emocional, la palabra auto también se emplea para referir movimiento. Sin embargo, no sabría decir si ese movimiento se da por sí solo.
La amiga @damarysvibra nos propone otra iniciativa. Hablaremos de afecto y automotivación. Agradezco a la comunidad la nueva oportunidad y aprovecho de invitar a las amigas @purrix y @slwzl para que participen en este intetesante debate.

The term was originally coined for a vehicle. In this sense, we see how the term mobility fits.

Motivación, la motivación de acuerdo a mi experiencia es sentir interés por algo o por alguien. Para mantenerme motivada debería estar haciendo algo que me guste.
Auto-motovación sería algo así como "mover por cuenta propia mis intereses o necesidades"¿Será posible?
Para entrar en el ejercicio pondré como ejemplo lo que me mueve de acuerdo a mis intereses. Amo la educación, es mi profesión. Para seguir aportando en esta área debería buscar por mis propios medios, qué hace falta para optimizar el acto educativo.
Motivation, motivation according to my experience is to feel interest in something or someone. To stay motivated I should be doing something I like.
Self-motivation would be something like "moving my interests or needs on my own "Is it possible?

Ya automotivada hago descubrimientos importantes, a título personal, me siento feliz y motivada a seguir buscando más. De continuar con la investigación sigo dejando claro que me mantengo automotivada. Me estoy moviendo en lo que quiero.
Otro ejemplo puede ser un emprendimiento. La automotivación me llevará a seguir trabajando para lograr el objetivo de mi futuro negocio. En la medida en que haga nuevos descubrimientos, en esa misma medida me moveré más para seguir avanzando.
Me queda claro que puedo estar automotivada para algo pero, ¿qué afecta a la automotivación?

Obviamente, agentes externos. Pudiese tomar inspiración de parte de otras personas para automotivarme. Es decir, factores externos son claves en este proceso. Puede que la automotivación por sí sola no me lleve a nada. Necesitamos del afecto de los otros para continuar con la misión.
El afecto, dentro de la automotivación, me impulsa a seguir adelante. El afecto, como lo señalas @damarysvibra en si publicación me permite recibir feedback, la aprobación o desaprobacion de la idea o propuesta.
Puedo estar automotivada pero si mía ideas o descubrimientos no son valorados, no serviría de nada. Esta teoría aprueba lo que vendría siendo un sistema holístico ya que debe ser valorado en su conjunto y no solo entre las partes que la constituye.

Affection, within self-motivation, drives me forward. Affection, as you point out @damarysvibra in if publication allows me to receive feedback, approval or disapproval of the idea or proposal.
I can be self-motivated but if my ideas or discoveries are not valued, it would be useless. This theory approves what would be a holistic system since it must be valued as a whole and not only among the parts that constitute it.

La automotivación es esa búsqueda estratégica utilizada para llevar a cabo una acción y obtener un resultado. Un punto que destaco en la automotivación es que nos invita a trabajar por nuestra propia cuenta haciendo el aprendizaje más significativo y de utilidad para la vida.
Asimismo, en el campo de la inteligencia emocional, la automotivación permite regular y controlar sentimientos y emociones para lograr con éxito la tarea. Actuar por sí mismo, controlar y regular son claves en el proceso.
Self-motivation is that search that we strategically use to carry out an action and obtain a result. A point I emphasize in self-motivation is that it invites us to work on our own

Luego de la profunda reflexión conmigo misma pienso igual que @damarysvobra. La automotivación ese alimenta de la interacción con otros elementos y añadiría de las necesidades propias y las de medio dónde se interactúa. Existe una motivación externa, de eso no me cabe la menor duda.
After deep reflection with myself I think the same as @damarysvobra. Self-motivation feeds on the interaction with other elements and I would add the own needs and those of the environment where it interacts. There is an external motivation, of that I have no doubt.
