The Delivery at Dawn short film celebrating Ethereum EIP-4844

The crypto space continues to amaze me and new use cases, ideas and initiatives are popping up from everywhere. Maybe it is also because of the current bull market, but nevertheless the creativity and ingenuity in this space has no limits. And a proof on this is that with the Ethereum EIP-4844, the Ethereum’s Cancun-Deneb upgrade, a major protocol update to reduce gas fees and enhance scalability through Proto-Danksharding, somebody thought to celebrate and also make some money of it through a short film named "The Delivery at Dawn" which can be minted on Zora.

Artistic value

You might wonder who would mint "The Delivery at Dawn" short film on Zora, but it seems that the creator earnings are around at 119 ETH at the time of writing this post, so that shows that creativity on blockchain pays big. With the simple tag that "The Delivery at Dawn" short film celebrates EIP-4844, core dev stewardship, & every L2, it translated into a total success and a proof of what you can do with this technology if you put your mind at it. And capitalizing on a piece of history on the Ethereum EIP-4844 by minting a snapshot of art on it is pure genius. And on top of that I like the fine touches that were put into it, like the following message.

Art expression

With each such example it is clear for me that art on the blockchain is a new form of expression and it becomes one that we start appreciating more a more. It is a revolution on its own which requires a change in our traditional thinking, but it is already happening and unveils in time. I also believe that I have an artistic nature, but didn't work on it in time and I am nowhere of expressing something meaningful for the world. But ideas and ways to interpret differently things around me are surrounding me as the blockchain has opened new neuronal pathways to rethink art.

Minting fees

If you think on minting it, don't worry as the fees are just 0.39€ or about 0.42$, so quite insignifiant if you ask me. Nevertheless, you can watch even for free "The Delivery at Dawn" short film on Zora, without minting it. Here is the link to it and I hope you enjoy both the music, the animation and the message altogether.

We need more such initiatives to bring crypto and blockchain technologies in front of the people and make it a normal discussion and subject. The world is changing and we should adapt with it and even embrace it for all the benefits that it brings. It requires some getting use to it, we need to wrap our head around it to understanding it, but what it offers is simply infinite to what we've got used to and limited ourselves.
