Greetings friends!

I decided to stay in 1977 and not leave the borders of the already non-existent state of the USSR.

But, for a while, we will move away from the theme of the animal world depicted on postage stamps.

Yes, in my collection there are a lot of postage stamps dedicated to the theme of fauna and flora, but painting has always been interesting to me.

Today, I have already forgotten a lot, but, as a child, I could unmistakably name a picture of the artist a classic and a museum in which this picture is kept.

The Soviet Union was a country behind the Iron Curtain. but, different fashion trends lived in it and people were drawn to the beautiful.

In addition, everyone who wanted to show their status kept expensive sets for 12 persons, crystal and various boxes made in the Fedoskino style in their sideboards.

On black boxes, trays, teapots, and other utensils, one could see magnificent miniatures with plots of Russian folk tales.

It was very difficult to take your eyes off these magnificent works of art.

Today, we will see the first postage stamp from Series Miniatures from Fedoskino, issued in 1977 in the USSR, which depicts miniature Bread and Salt, N.M. Soloninkin (1970).

For my publications, I do not use stock photographs, it is fundamentally important for me to use photographs that I have made with my own hands for publication and I can name them - authorial work.
