Travel the World of Postage Stamps - Butterflies (1979) - Dot-underwing Moth (Eudocima materna) - Cuba 1979 - Michel Cuba 2398 - my hobby.
Greetings friends!
It's funny, yesterday, after my publication of a post about a postage stamp from series Butterflies (1979), issued in Cuba in 1979, which depicts Moth (Eulepidotis rectimargo), I decided to look at the Ukrainian news and they showed me an exhibition of an amateur Ukrainian entomologist who, since childhood, has been catching insects, strung them on a needle and dried.
Now, crowds of onlookers come to see his collection.
In my collection there are many butterflies and other insects depicted on postage stamps. I am happy that the life of a butterfly, or an ant, was not the price of my hobby.
There is such an expression - Peaceful atom, lol. so, postage stamps, this is Peaceful biology, entomology, history, geography and many more sciences that do not harm those around us.
Plus, postage stamps are the quietest, stress-free investment in cryptocurrency price spikes.
Yes, we see a low price of a few cents, but if Bitcoin suddenly equals the price of one dollar, the postage stamp will not change its value downward, this figure, slowly but surely, will grow up, for, never, more , the same series of postage stamps will not be issued.
Today, I want to present another postage stamp from series Butterflies (1979), denomination 4 ¢ - Cuban centavo, which depicts Dot-underwing Moth (Eudocima materna).

For my publications, I do not use stock photographs, it is fundamentally important for me to use photographs that I have made with my own hands for publication and I can name them - authorial work.
