in this post I will explain about destiny from Allah. many question if all that humans do is by the will of Allah, then where is human freedom?
this is a misunderstanding of destiny. It is obligatory for us as Muslims to believe in destiny. which is one of the pillars of Islam. but we must know what destiny means. I will give an example. There are 50 students in the school room. when going to hold an exam, a teacher predicts that the student will get good grades. he knows that student A studies diligently and he is good therefore the teacher predicts student A will get good grades and pass the exam.
while for student b, the teacher predicts that he will get the right grades and he will also go to class. The teacher said that because he knew the student was not diligent in studying. and the teacher also predicts that student c will not graduate from school. he said that because student c was very naughty and often skipped school.
And when the test results came out, the teacher's prediction was correct, that student c did not graduate from school. and this is the fault of the student not the teacher. the teacher only predicts.
the same goes with Allah swt. Has given free will to humans. And Allah has told what is wrong and what is right through the Qur'an. all choices are human. and Allah has occult knowledge, and Allah knows the future of mankind. this is certain because man is his creation. For example, person b will commit theft. Before committing the theft, Allah already knew that person b would commit theft. Therefore, Allah immediately wrote down the crime that person b would do.
so it's not because God has written down the crime that person b did that person b commits the crime, but that person b will do the crime, then God has written it.
