Hallo liebe Freunde,
now again more time has passed since my last sign of life on HIVE than I had actually planned. In this post I post some photos of Homburg am Main. With my family I spent there at the quarry pondk - the Klostersee (monestary lake), because the monastery Triefenstein is not far away - a vacation at home. The quarry pond is actually located in the market Trennfeld. However, from there you have the perfect view over the Main towards Homburg and the Homburg Kallmuth - this is the name of the vineyard about which I have already brought some posts on HIVE.

nun ist doch schon wieder mehr Zeit seit meinem letzten Lebenszeichen auf HIVE vergangen als ich eigentlich geplant hatte. In diesem Beitrag poste ich einige Fotos von Homburg am Main. Mit meiner Familie habe ich dort am Baggersee - dem Klostersee, da das Kloster Triefenstein nicht weit entfernt ist - einen Urlaub daheim verbracht. Der Baggersse liegt eigentlich in der Markt Trennfeld. Allerdings hat man von dort aus den perfekten Blick über den Main Richtung Homburg und den Homburger Kallmuth - so heißt der Weinberg, über den ich schon einige Beiträge auf HIVE gebracht habe.
As I said, we took advantage of the beautiful summer weather there, for which we had waited in vain for a long time this year, to recharge our batteries.

Wie gesagt haben wir dort das schöne Sommerwetter, auf das wir dieses Jahr lange vergeblich gewartet hatten, genutzt, um noch etwas Kraft zu tanken.
This week it was all over the place. We had my daughter's enrollment and two parent-teacher conferences. It was clear that it would be stressful. Hopefully now we can get into some daily routine. However, I will only believe in it when the time comes.

Diese Woche ging es drunter und drüber. Wir hatten die Einschulung meiner Tochter und zwei Elternabende. Es war klar, daß da stressig werden würde. Hoffentlich kann nun etwas Alltagsroutine eintreten. Allerdings glaube ich daran erst, wenn es soweit ist.
Impressions of Triefensteiner Klostersee. For swimmers and anglers a gladly used jewel in the nature. However, the lake was created artificially. However, nothing is to be seen of it any more. It looks as if it has always been there.

Impressionen von Triefensteiner Klostersee. Für Badegäste und Angler eine gern genutztes Kleinod in der Natur. Der See ist allerdings künstlich entstanden. Zu sehen ist davon allerdings nichts mehr. Er wirkt so, als sei er schon immer dort gewesen.
And here are a few more impressions of Homburg am Main in the late summer of 2021. In the pictures, everything seems so normal, as if the whole madness had never taken place. I should cultivate this view of things.... ;-)
