A Tale of Two Pizza's - Caravan of progress OverSeas (Week 11)

Manzanilla and Picholine sat there for a few minutes enjoying there mid day brunch when one of their messengers came in to tell them that 'Erba the Spice Baron is on his way and should be at the kingdom in a few hours. Traveling with 'Erba is the Tolcetta the Wine Grape Baroness, and a few days away is Vincheezo the Cheese Baron. Manzanilla looked pleased to know that his friends were coming to his home, he smiled thanked the messenger and looked at Pich who was off in thought.

Pich started in to the servant in the room, "Lets make sure to have the rooms ready for our guests, let the dinner be ready to eat at eight tonight, an informal greeting shall be had when the guests arrive, and then we shall leave our guests to rest before dinner. Oh, and make sure the flowers are laid out to greet our guests." The servant scurried out of the room to make the arrangements. "I did not know that Tolchetta was coming." she said inquisitively.

"Pich you know exactly what is needed, how wonderful that you can do these things to which am no good. Ill meet the guests at the gate when they arrive for the informal greeting and prepare myself for dinner." Manzanilla said joyfully red in the face.

A few hours passed and Manzanilla got word that the guests would be at the gate in twenty minutes. The is was enough time for him to get to the gate as he made his way there.

At the gate Manzanilla saw the two caravans as they approached. When they pulled through the gates 'Erba the Spice Baron and Tolcetta the Wine Grape Baroness, got out to greet the old friend.

"Welcome back it has been too long since I have seen the two of you, please come and rest the rooms are ready for you. As you know the Pizza Baron has asked us to supply a ship full of the best we have to offer and the best this country has to offer comes from the two of you. We shall talk of these things in greater details after some rest, food and wine tonight." The Olive Baron said gleefully. "Why thank you Manzanilla you are too kind a man and the best in this land, ill have my caravan get the wine to your chef for tonight's dinner, yes rest is need the road has been long and dusty." Said the Wine Grape Baroness motioning to the caravan towards the kitchen area, which proceeded to pull away.

"Kind words you greet us with after a long road, coming from the north is no easy task these days. I believe your messenger told you that Vincheezo the Cheese Baron is a few days behind us. I too shall have my caravan unloaded to you kitchen and shall have my servants decorate the place with the flowers and shrubs we have brought." 'Erba the Spice Baron said as he continued to talk to one of the go-getter that was around him.

"Well this pleases me definitely, I shall have my people show you to your respective rooms, dinner is at eight, don't be late or my wife will have strung up by the cheese" Manzanilla said.

The caravans kicked up there last dusts as they made there way to the respective areas, the bustling and energy was different now there was life injected into the community as the new colours and smells filled the areas into which the new people had come. Kids played in the streets and poked around the new people there was laughter and joy that spread as fast as the new wonderful smells spread.
The Barons took there leave and rested for the dinner that evening.
