(A crazy month with Martha)

Bueno, como empezar con esta historia. Creo que primero deberé presentarles a Martha, una gatita negra que no es mía sino, que es del trabajo de mi esposo y esta, había llegado hacia un par de semanas y se adaptó perfectamente al negocio.
Martha vigilaba la puerta, dormía por ahí y me seguía a todos lados. Generamos una conexión especial así que dije que yo, me iba a hacer cargo de esterilizarla y cuidarla hasta que se recupere de dicha cirugía. Algo que como mucho llevaba una semana y ellos, se hacían cargo de los gastos. Ese fue el comienzo de la pesadilla.
Well, how to start with this story. I think I should first introduce you to Martha, a black kitty that is not mine but belongs to my husband's workplace, and she had arrived about a couple of weeks ago and adapted perfectly to the business.
Martha kept watch at the door, slept around, and followed me everywhere. We formed a special connection, so I said that I would take care of spaying her and looking after her until she recovered from the surgery, which would take at most a week, and they would cover the expenses. That was the beginning of the nightmare.

Todo empezó mal ya que Martu cayó enferma. Mas de 40 de fiebre, secreciones, no comía, no se movía prácticamente. Entre en desespero porque no sabia que pasó , quizá fue el cambio de casa nose, dicen que los gatos se sienten mal cuando los sacas de su hogar. Cuestión, le dió una infección respiratoria. No podíamos operarla y esa semana se convirtió en poco mas de un mes ya que tardo bastante en recuperarse.
It all started badly as Martu fell ill. Over 40 fever, secretions, she wasn't eating, she was hardly moving. I panicked because I didn't know what happened, maybe it was the change of house, I don't know, they say that cats feel bad when you take them out of their home. Anyway, she got a respiratory infection. We couldn't operate on her and that week turned into a little over a month as it took quite a while for her to recover.

Ella, con medicación y cuidados, se recuperó pero, otro peligro acechaba cruzando la puerta. Mi gato Grisin que no estaba aun castrado y quería con Martha. Obviamente , los tuve que poner en habitaciones separadas para que no llegaran mini grisines al mundo así que Martha, estuvo encerrada todo el tiempo pero.. pasaron cosas.
She, with medication and care, recovered but, another danger was lurking beyond the door. My cat Grisin who was not yet neutered and wanted with Martha. Obviously, I had to put them in separate rooms so that mini Grisins wouldn't come into the world, so Martha was locked up all the time but.. things happened.

El amor fue a primera vista ya que Grisin la perseguía cuando ella se escapaba de la habitación que estaba encerrada. Parecían Romeo y Julieta versión gato.
Como yo trabajo en casa, podía vigilarlos pero se ve que en dos segundos, los perdí de vista y pasaron cosas ya que el día que había que esterilizarla ¡Uh - oh! ¡Sorpresa! Martu tenía 3 semanas de embarazo 😖 así que tuvieron que vaciarla toda porque sino había riesgo para ella. No se imaginan el shock que sufrí porque no podía entender en que momento paso pero bueno, hice lo mejor que pude.
Love was at first sight as Grisin chased her when she was escaping from the room that was locked. They looked like a cat version of Romeo and Juliet.
Since I work from home, I could keep an eye on them but apparently in two seconds, I lost sight of them and things happened because the day Martu had to be sterilized. Uh-oh! Surprise! Martu was 3 weeks pregnant 😖 so they had to empty her out because otherwise there was a risk for her. You can't imagine the shock I went through because I couldn't understand when it happened but well, I did the best I could.

Por suerte todo salió bien para la pequeña aunque como dije, la vaciaron toda antes de que empezaran a crecer los bebes (Me sentí super mal ) de igual forma, Grisin la sigue buscando. Ese gato es terrible.
Si todo marcha bien, ya en unos días Martu se vuelve a su casita y habrá terminado esta travesía. Ayude a esterilizar muchos gatos pero este caso fue especial, una locura todo lo que paso y espero pronto, castrara a Grisin ya que de todos mis gatos es el único que me falta.

Luckily everything turned out well for the little one although as I said, they emptied her before the babies began to grow (I felt super bad) anyway, Grisin continues to look for her. That cat is terrible.
If everything goes well, in a few days Martu will return to her little house and this journey will be over. I have helped sterilize many cats but this case was special, a complete madness what happened and I hope soon, Grisin will be neutered since he is the only one of all my cats that I am missing.
