Hunger, please don't kill us!!!

Please, follow me to Akwanga market in Nasarawa State, Nigeria, and see things for yourself.

I just felt like taken a walk into the market this morning when I discovered that we have ran out of food stock. But I was shocked when I got into the market. Shock is under statemen.

In fact, I don't have the correct verb to use and describe what I saw in the market.

The market was jam-packed with people, Grains, clothes, plates and lots of good things, but then, can you purchase anything?

Of course not! The possibility of one buying something from the market was no there.

I can't actually believe my eyes. I took the little money with me at home to the market to purchase things, I couldn't buy anything from the market. You know why? Things were extremely expensive, beyond my imaginations.

In our market here, a measure of rice was sold #350, but now is sold for #700 per measure. Beans was formally sold for #300 per measure, but now a measure is sold for #600. A measure of maize was formally sold for #150, but now is sold for #300 per measure. I can go on and on, but there will be no need for that.
So many families can not afford three meals a day because of the way things are expensive in the market.

So, I cry out after seeing what is happening in our market.

"Hunger, please don't kill us "
While, after all that my eyes saw today, I have decided to go on hunger strike. But will it work? I don't know.
Maybe someone will help me with the answer.
Right now as I am putting this piece together, I'm very hungry, I don't know if I should go back to the market to buy things like that, or should I wait maybe till next week Friday, to see if the price of things will come be better then.

If you want a solution to what is happening in the world today, please comment, share your thoughts, upvote and like.
Thanks for reading this piece, till we meet next week Friday.
