These are some few things that I've learned in a span of 3months being part of the Cebu Hive Community lead by @purepinay and some photos were taken by @gerel from our previous gatherings :
You are not forced to do something instead you are guided for the steps that you understood at your own phase- As what we all know Hive is a big platform wherein you cannot just directly understand the ways on how things work with a blink of an eye so take your time on exploring Hive and analyze the different purposes of different stuffs that Hive can offer.
Understand the process even if it takes time since a little progress is still a progress - Don't pressure yourself and don't compare yourself to others, enjoy the process and see the beauty of your own journey as a member of the community.
Don't be shy to socialize - Everyone is not an extrovert but a little Hi and Hello won't hurt so don't be shy to socialize because you may not know the person that you think is snobbish is the person that will be your closest friend in the community and everyone is definitely willing to support you and will always lend time to upvote your posts since being greedy is not in the vocabulary of Hive Cebu Community.
Share your knowledge - Feel free to share your ideas during meetings/gatherings because there is no right or wrong and a suggestion is always appreciated.
Feel free to express yourself- YOLO as they say so feel free to let the artistic self in you shine for whatever passion you have because you are always the main character of your own story.
Never instantly react on negative things or criticisms instead understand the situation and reflect- Don't let negative stuffs hurt you easily, instead take it as a positive criticism and work on it silently and just let your output do the talking.
Always look on the brighter side and focus on your masterpiece- there will always be ups and downs but hey be proud of what you already developed on yourself you deserve a pat on your back buddy don't be too harsh on yourself instead be excited for new stuffs to discover and learn.
Treasure every moment- a big or small gathering a small chitchat or just joining an event, always treasure the moment because to be included on that gathering or event is already a blessing and friendship is free and shared genuinely.
Don't be shy to smile- Spread happiness because a positive energy radiates and lights up the room for everyone and it is definitely the best feature you can always wear.
You are not alone- at Cebu Hive Community I never felt that I was alone I always get excited whenever we have gatherings because aside from the bond that is shared every hiver has a story to tell and everyone is like a part of human library wherein a lot of things can be learned and lessons to be shared while also having a friend that you can lean on.
