figure of speech, March

Excerpt from speech on personal revelation, Sunday, March 8th

It’s not enough to read a couple sayings and axioms like a few pages out of the Farmer’s Almanac and call yourself Ben Franklin. I mean even as the winter is cold, you may lose yourself to the more frigid periods, freeze up even.

The life of man is a winter's day and a winter's way.

It might mean that man’s life is cold and short. My personal understanding is that we are brisk and brief. We make our presence felt. It’s true that revelations are indeed your progress, but the moment you understand that your benefit can be another’s, your findings will be revelations with which you make others personal. Thank you, Preston.
