Tuck's red meat

It would be unfair to say that Tucker Carlson is always wrong, but it sure seems like it at times. I mean, I realize the purpose of the show is to make money and thus red meat is best, but maybe he's beginning to say the quiet parts too loudly.

I know some might say it's a show, it's a character. Well, I will admit that it was what the defense used last time in court to get him out of trouble for libel. Fox News in other words, has had to throw him under the bus to avoid paying money, but yet, the buck is running wild again.

Replace us

Lately, he's been repeating over and over the idea that the democratic party is trying to replace the voters. His working theory is that the democrats allow and want more immigrants, because they are likely to be left leaning thus giving the democrats more power.

If you feel this "they are trying to replace us" talking point, scare tactic, is somewhat familiar. Well, know that it's a common antisemitic trope used by white nationalists.

Now, I'm not saying he is one, although he sure sounds like one right now, but that he's using the same tactic to garnish support for "his cause".

Too much credit

To think that the incompetent democratic party can think 10, 15 years ahead is just ridiculous. Why do I say 10, 15? Well, because it takes that long for people to fix the immigrant status. That's if they ever do.

At this point there are millions upon millions of undocumented people in America, most of which will never acquire papers. Why do I say this? Well, because I worked for a decade in the restaurant business, and I had a front row seat to the dilemma.

Contrary to what the red meat tossers say, most of the time they never get to legalize their status, and a good percentage of them get either deported, or decide to leave on their own.

Why do I bring this up? Well, because it seems just too stupid to just let go. I mean, let's say that 10% of the undocumented people manage to legalize their stay after an average of 10 years.

Then you are saying:

"The Democrats spending billions of dollars on benefits for illegal immigrants to try to captivate 10% of them into voting for them, after a decade or so"

Notice this assumes that the 10% will become democrats in their totality. Which is another stupid idea. I know my fair share of third world country immigrants who are conservative, and to the hidden implication here, is that all immigrants are welfare queens and kings and thus want to suck on uncle sam's tit.

But it works!

The scare tactic is so effective, his audience gobbles it up. These fear mongers on the right (the left has their version too) love to bring up twitter when they are making these points too.

It's usually something like "But if you ask questions, if you bring this up, the gatekeepers on twitter will make your life miserable". A variation of that at times, but the core remains.

So he's both on a gigantic platform with millions of people watching, prime time show slot, and oppressed, silenced, for his "truth telling". Is this not stupid? How does his audience not see it.

Oh Tucks. I'm on to you and the Lemons and the Morning Joes. This is just a show for ratings and it's painfully stupid.
