"Low-ku and Art (Short Post...)" by Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)

Poetry is the ice cream of language... Here's a scoop of bubblegum with a mountain of Gummi bears and sprinkles on it...

Low-ku 01 (for today)

The news eats bad chips
Hunks of fried butter and fat
Looks like drowned French toast

I need some Rolaids... But first, here's a picture I drew today while the granddaughter was here:

[Crayon, colored pencil, and wax pencil on reclaimed cardboard with digital embellishments and color.]

Okay... That one makes me feel a little better. Let's try another Low-ku, and then I'll go have another wine-pop...

Fuzzy grey nut brain
Soaked in clouds of nonsense words
Chewy wad of goop!

Yep... That's my brain... Zip zoop zop! Let's all join hands and try to change the world with our minds!!! (Might work. Wear a mask and sanitize your fingers after the ritual!)
