THE BEACH (WHAT IF?)

My feet remained buried in the sand as I sat and watched, I liked the way the loose sand felt on my feet, it gave a really nice sense of freedom and relaxation.

Cold air brushed against my skin, the hair on my arms stood desperately, trying to resist the chilling sensation that only the beach can provide, they failed, they only made the feeling better.

Waves crashed into each other, producing a beautiful melody. Chaos had never been so beautiful, the water was violent, yet so calming.

I sat there and I wondered, "where did all that come from", "why is the ocean blue", "why is the sunset so beautiful", "what happens when we die", "what happens before we are born".

I know most of these questions have answers but, the answers just seem to take the magic away. I like to wonder you know, create imaginary answers, then create more questions, there are so many if's and if not's.

It was getting dark so I automatically felt more relaxed, I let go and let my back fall to the ground. The moon lit up the sky and I wondered, "why does it shine so bright". The beautiful stars littered the dark sky, the view never gets old.

I closed my eyes and I wondered, "What if the stars are the broken pieces of a second moon".
