Me acordé de eso, gracias a la iniciativa del estimado @emiliorios Te costará creerlo pero la verdad es que la gran mayoría, aún hoy día, no lo sabe. Es una situación similar a esa frase que se dice:"Sabemos más sobre el espacio que sobre las profundidades de nuestros propios mares". Estemos de acuerdo o no con esa afirmación, es perfecta para describir bastante bien la situación de la humanidad respecto a sí misma así que quiero compartir contigo cómo fue que después de un largo viaje encontré el conocimiento que a mí me ayudó. ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmaAKrs1qNqGz81jXTY9sUWCxWaidMBd4jBiKZ7QsbEczp/pngwing.com.png) ## Todos creen saber la respuesta La religión, la escuela. "Solo hazlo". Siempre habrá un libro que te diga una respuesta. Cuando yo era chico, casi nadie hablaba con los niños sobre los temas serios de la vida. La excusa era que "debíamos preservar su inocencia". Yo, personalmente, dudo mucho de esa afirmación. En mi experiencia los niños siempre quieren saber, pero no encuentran a nadie con la paciencia que les explique porque requiere de mucha maña ponerse en los zapatos de un niño de 9 años. Encima, por no decirles nada, de repente despiertan en un mundo que les exige habilidades de las que no tienen idea. Muchos llegan a la adolescencia sin habilidades sociales básicas que les ayuden a aprender a comunicarse mejor lo que da a lugar a inseguridades tremendas. Bueno, todos recordamos esa edad ciertamente peliaguda. El caso fue que intentaron protegerme y yo también, adoptando una cosmovisión del mundo donde la justicia siempre triunfaba porque Dios es justo y todopoderoso. Cuando encontré que el mundo era todo, menos justo, quise darle mis propias interpretaciones místicas "Dios sabe por qué lo hace" o "Fue a causa de mis pecados ocultos" y todo este tema, cuyas consecuencias he hablado antes. Con los años la guerra conmigo mismo me distanciaba de mis propias emociones y de mis propias motivaciones. Llegó la depresión y puso el freno de mano a todo. Algo con los tintes de "No nos movemos más hasta que atiendas lo que llevas dentro". El ser humano, tan prepotente, se ha dado la tarea de crear un mundo encima del mundo y se gloría de eso, pero como también somos parte de la naturaleza quedan tintes todavía, como el hecho de que hemos resultado incapaces de aprender a compartir unos con otros incluso hoy. Por eso, doctrinas que parten de tu propia naturaleza o de ella en general, como el taoismo o el estoicismo, llevan consejos mucho más eficientes que la media. Cabe destacar por supuesto, los estudios científicos que buscan observar al ser humano para llegar a conclusiones útiles, como los que intentan dilucidar el funcionamiento de la mente humana, responsable por supuesto de nuestros problemas al no encontrar la manera de gestionarla apropiadamente. Esas fueron las lecciones que aprendí. En cuanto me volqué a la ciencia en busca de respuestas las cosas comenzaron a mejorar, encontrando sin embargo que esta carecía de una especie de conexión que el taoismo me brindó. La temática científica te hace sentir que "Tú estás aquí y la naturaleza allá", mientras que el taoismo te hace sentir como las verdades que impulsan la corriente de un río pueden ser relevantes a ti mismo. En el misterio que hace mover las hojas de los árboles algo hay también que te mueve, lo que le añade un amor entrañable a nuestra investigación. Así, me encontré con la meditación y la importancia de aceptar las emociones como si fueras a estar con ellas para toda la vida. ¡Tamaña afirmación, en una cultura donde, obsesionados con la tecnología, nos damos precisamente a la tarea de borrar y exterminar todo lo indeseado o incómodo! Pero le di una oportunidad y para mi sorpresa los problemas comenzaron a solucionarse, porque la consciencia de las cosas precede al control sobre ellas. Hace años, habían días en que no podía levantarme de mi asiento debido al enorme peso de la depresión. Hoy, me siento inmovil voluntariamente, buscando en mi esas emociones sepultadas que han estado esperando a que mire, para aceptarlas de todo corazón. Al abrirles de par en par las puertas de mi casa, nisiquiera entran. Comienzan a desvanecerse allí donde están, como el aroma de la lluvia. ¿Será la vida sobre eso realmente... "Just do it". There will always be a book that tells you an answer. When I was growing up, almost no one talked to children about the serious issues of life. The excuse was that "we had to preserve their innocence." I, personally, highly doubt that statement. In my experience, children always want to know, but they can't find anyone with the patience to explain to them because it requires a lot of skill to put themselves in the shoes of a 9-year-old child. On top of that, not to tell them anything, they suddenly wake up in a world that demands skills they have no idea about. Many reach adolescence without basic social skills that help them learn to communicate better, which gives rise to tremendous insecurities. Well, we all remember that certainly turbulent age. The fact was that they tried to protect me and I too, adopting a worldview of the world where justice always triumphed because God is just and almighty. When I found the world to be anything but fair, I wanted to give it my own mystical interpretations "God knows why he does it" or "It was because of my hidden sins" and all this stuff, the consequences of which I have talked about before in other posts. Over the years, the war with myself distanced me from my own emotions and my own motivations. Depression came and put the handbrake on everything. Something with shades of "We won't move anymore until you take care of what's inside you." The human being, so arrogant, has taken on the task of creating a world on top of the world and glories in that, but since we are also part of nature there are still nuances, such as the fact that we have proven incapable of learning to share some with others even today. Therefore, doctrines that start from your own nature or from it in general, such as Taoism or Stoicism, carry much more efficient advice than average. Of course, it is worth highlighting the scientific studies that seek to observe human beings to reach useful conclusions, such as those that try to elucidate the functioning of the human mind, which is of course responsible for our problems by not finding a way to manage it appropriately. Those were the lessons I learned. As soon as I turned to science in search of answers, things began to improve, however, I found that it lacked a kind of connection that Taoism gave me. The scientific theme makes you feel that "You are here and nature is there", while Taoism makes you feel like the truths that drive the current of a river can be relevant to yourself. In the mystery that makes the leaves of the trees move, there is also something that moves you, which adds an endearing love to our research. Thus, I came across meditation and the importance of accepting emotions as if you were going to be with them for life. Such a statement, in a culture where, obsessed with technology, we give ourselves precisely the task of erasing and exterminating everything unwanted or uncomfortable! Science had been using meditations from the east taping on their potential because of their proven health and mental benefits, so I gave it a chance and to my surprise the problems began to be solved, because awareness of things precedes control over them. Years ago, there were days when I couldn't get out of my seat due to the enormous weight of depression. Today, I sit voluntarily still, searching within myself for those buried emotions that have been waiting for me to look, to accept them wholeheartedly. When I open the doors of my house wide for them, they don't even enter. They begin to fade where they are, like the scent of rain. Perhaps life is really about that... Learning to say hello and goodbye?
