Spiritual awakening
when you can see through the farce
and faces that wear those masks
the laughter that is superficial
the race for the money
the untruth and the false
the mind thinks otherwise and the smile hides it all
thoughts if revealed
could make you look startled
and never recover from it all
Spiritual awakening need not be in a forest
nor do you need to be a saint or a renunciate
when you start to realize
you can read minds
you have mastered the first lessons of becoming wise, after all
