Old City of Jakarta

The Kota Tua Jakarta Tourism Area is almost ready to realize its new face after preening a few months ago.

Not only neater, the new face of the Kota Tua area is now dominated by pedestrian paths complete with guiding blocks and bicycle lanes.

Pedestrian sidewalks that were only 2 meters wide are now full roads. This is because Jalan Lada and Jalan Kemukus have now been completely converted into pedestrian paths.

Some visitors also seemed relaxed crossing the pedestrian path while occasionally playing in the fountain in the middle.

Revitalization is also almost complete on the west side of Jakarta Kota Station, which was previously an underground crossing tunnel and a Transjakarta bus stop.

The pedestrian area is now level with the ground. The underground fountain area is no longer visible from the surface.

The underground crossing entrance which is located in front of the Mandiri Museum has not been operated yet.
