In the song Esta Vida by Mexican band Tres De Copas, the group tell us what it’s like to see the sun peek through the window and be filled by the view of a beautiful dawn.
Then in the third verse, they tell us again how good it feels to receive a hug from the early morning and again be filled by the vista of a beautiful sunrise.
To some, this might seem like repetitious, lazy songwriting, but perhaps it’s an important reminder - just because something happens every day doesn’t necessarily make it any less special. Every sunrise and every moment is there for us to enjoy.
