An exoplanet can be defined as a planet that orbits a star other than our Sun, so it is not located in our solar system, if only for statistics, all experts knew that there should be a huge number of planets orbiting other stars, but it was not until 1992 that the first probative evidence of its existence was obtained.

Now it seems that a group of British astronomers have detected a new type of exoplanet that, despite not resembling Earth, has a high probability of harboring life, these planets have been dubbed Hycean planets that are hot planets, covered with oceans and with atmospheres rich in hydrogen and that are much more abundant than those similar to the Earth.

Of course we must be clear that when experts talk about life they do not expect to meet the mayor and the group of majorettes of the planet, it would be some type of microbial life that could have some resemblance to the Extremophilic organisms that inhabit any of the most inhospitable areas of our planet.
Por su puesto hemos de tener claro que cuando los expertos hablan de vida no esperan encontrarse al alcalde y al grupo de majorettes del planeta, se trataría de algún tipo de vida microbiana que pudiese tener algún parecido con los organismos extremófilos que habitan en alguna de las zonas más inhóspitas de nuestro planeta.
