The Mechanics Behind The Butcher

BUTSCHER.png

By sending them to the Butcher, you can now cash out pigs in Grunts. But beware, the Butcher will slaugther those brave warriors!

Basic Features

  • You can only sell pigs that are level 4 or higher
  • You need to have spend $30 or more in the shop (Grunts excluded) before you can use the feature; this is for protection against spammers

Price Calculation

The Butcher calculates your payment the following way:

  • 90% of fair value
  • Price = Experience x Skill
  • Skill multiplier: 0.5 to 1.5

What this means is: If the Skill bar of your pig is zero, the Butcher will reduce about 50% of the price. If the bar is full, the Butcher will increase the price of your pig by about 50% instead.

What the Butcher is for

Since the Butcher pays below market price, you might make more money if you sell your pigs to other players. The Butcher is basically a quick way for you to turn pigs into Grunts.

For example, you can sell one level 5 pig for about 50,000 Grunts, and then buy two level 4 pigs for the same amount. Once you've leveled those pigs up, you can send them to the Butcher as well, and you've doubled your earnings. Pretty cool, right?

Because players ask this a lot: The feature to cash out Grunts is in the works but it will take some time, so for now we can't announce any release date.

Sound

If you've played recently, you've probably already noticed that we added sounds to the game. They will announce the beginning of the game and will also remind you when your timer is about to run out.

Don't like them? No problem, you can simply turn them off in your settings.
