Hive Philippines Travel and Nature Photography #825 - by Allmonitors

#825 - Bangui Windmills Shots for Saturday.

A gloomy and with rain showers evening of a weekend dearest beloved Hiveans. It's my last day of work this week and I am about to go on a journey tomorrow without sleep. I will bw with the wife and out friend Dreb who was with us last time going to Ilocos Norte. The wife and him decided to go out this weekend all of a sudden and we will go to Dingalan Aurora for just an overnight. The travel time going there is about four hours depending on the traffic condition on the road but hopefully we will be there by noon time. I bought online an injector cleaner liquid or oil which I already put on the workhorse which will have benefits according to fellow Crosswind owners who use it.

Moving on now to our daily shots we got here some scenes we have taken when we first visited the windmills way back a year ago or so if not mistaken. We went here coming from Ilocos Sur because that's where we we were staying for q couple of nights and the windmills of Ilocos Norte was included in the itenerary. The travel time was more or less three hours going here and we left Vigan early at dawn so we have enough time to visit other places in this northern part of the country.

We had a blast first on our first destination which was the Patapat viaduct which we also visited this last month. Then after spending about an hour there we went for a stop over at the windmills. There are several areas where you can watch or view these large mills spinning but the closest was this area which is a few meters already from the beach. We had spend ample time here as well taking photos of the sceneries and also photos of us. We got here the wife and her friend Jaz who came to join us in this adventure.

We were not the only people there when we arrived. There were other visitors who drove their vehicles near the shoreline already where the sands are. I didn't wanted to risk it driving my workhorse all the way here because the sands are not stable enough and my wheels my get caught. There were kids also who are local to this place spending their quality time and doing what kids do, kill time and enjoy.

Of course the wife will not be satisfied without a solo shot of her own with the windmills. The coast was with blue sea water and strong winds which made the waves bigger and strong too. The windmills placed on the sands have a long lines in numbers. Majority of the mills were spinning when we got here. When we visited again last month some of the mills were not spinning maybe because they were due for maintenance already.
