Photo Fun Contests – Week 4 - Sunsets - Wondrous Wyoming

This is my entry for @claudiaz' contest on Weku.

These pictures were snapped at the edge of the Great Divide Basin - or just to the east of it. We had spent the day out to Rawlins and back and the sunset caught us here.

I don't have very many sunset pictures to choose from. My previous camera, the Samsung NX11 really couldn't handle the sun at all. Although this isn't the best test of my new-to-me Pentax K30, I was rather impressed with the results.

This one was with the regular "auto" settings, not changing anything I normally do.

Then, with the sunset setting on the camera. What do you think?

And those lights, not so far in the distance? A very slow-moving large load... I got in quickly once I was made aware of it. I had been too busy taking pictures to notice!

Photos taken by myself in March 2019 with my Pentax K30.
