No Place Like... - Wondrous Wyoming

No matter how anticipated, how wonderful a trip/holiday can be... no matter how good you felt going on the journey, it's equally good to finally go home again. (If this isn't true for you, please examine your situation!)

We finally got home the evening of the 12th, narrowly avoiding a nasty hailstorm across southwestern Montana. This sign felt so sweet - even though we were still a good three hours from home!

This first picture, I had to crop it severely to make any sense of it, but it came out surprisingly well.

The second gives the impression of the speed as we passed by the sign, but it also came out very well.

(We even stopped by Chris LeDoux's memorial park in Kaycee - but I'll share those photos another time.)

It is unusual to have so much green still in August. I guess our late snows this year (mid-May) and heavy June rains paid off!

Maybe you can see some of why while I love my home area in the Pacific Northwest, I also dearly love my Wyoming!

Photos taken by myself in August 2019 with my Pentax K30.
