I was looking through the pictures I have yet to share with you when I remembered a set that I took in the midst of a severe thunderstorm. I grabbed the camera because it looked like it wanted to drop a tornado. Although it's not the prettiest of funnel clouds, it definitely had rotation and moved across my view as one form... Take a look - this was all taken from my front porch!
(Note: the photographic quality isn't at my usual, partly because I was trying to move too quickly to document this funnel cloud.)
I also took a two-minute video, but I was unsuccessful in my attempts of uploading it to dtube or to hyperspace. Maybe next time...
