East of Casper Mountain - Wondrous Wyoming

A few weeks ago (April 18), we took a little wander off the east end of town, wandering close to Casper Mountain and beyond.

Here are some of the photos - there are plenty more to come!

I think this early springtime (yes, April is definitely "early" spring here) is the prettiest time - with snow still on the mountains, but the green starting to fill out the fields and hills.

Casper Mountain is very much like our own little "Table Mountain" with a large spread, but a fairly flat top.

Yet, there are still farms and ranches nestled between the mountains. Very idyllic. I'd love to live in one of these little niches between the mountains where you can pretend you're the only one for hundreds of miles...

Photos taken by myself in April 2019 with my Pentax K30.
