Stormy Evening Sky

One of the cool things about living in Wyoming is that we get really exciting weather without the huge risks that are had along the southern Atlantic Coast or down in Tornado Alley. But we still get some pretty awesome thunderstorms.

Sometimes, though, the best scenes are found after the storm plows through. I saw this very pink sky from my bedroom window and ran outside to get a better view to snap with my camera. At the time, I did not have a decent camera to play with, but I did the best I could. I love the gloomy, yet still strangely cheery mood this picture captures.

It's difficult to catch a city scene in a way that doesn't encroach on the privacy of others.
