Its humid as well, and the heat of the day is difficult to bear. The best thing to do when the weather is like this is to seek water, and luckily the Isar river flows through the middle of the city. Its a great place to relax and cool down in the refreshing, cold + clear water.
It can get quite busy in the most popular sections on the weekend
Down by the Zoo has a nice stretch of water - go a little bit further down & you get to the nudist area, if that's more your thing!
If the heat gets too much, then you can always find shade under the bridge
Another nice area is between the Reichenbacherbrucke & Wittelsbacherbrucke
There is a small island where the water is a bit deeper, and good for diving in
Tis shot was taken in April - as soon as the sun gets warmer, people head to the banks of the Isar!
