📷 Some Seascapes of South Africa

South Africa is washed for thousands of kilometers by the oceans, Indian and Atlantic. Therefore, there is definitely no shortage of seascapes there :) And this is great! Today I have a small selection of South African seascapes for you, some of which also have a cityscape inside - but that doesn't make them any worse. Let's go over them?

So, in this shot, Dias Beach just before sunset. It is between the famous Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point. Unfortunately, a visit to Cape Point National Park can only be done during its opening hours, and by sunset we had already left there. A very interesting and picturesque place!

And this is a small lighthouse in the town of Umhlanga. I once showed a couple of its photos - day and night. And in this shot, I love the feeling of movement created by the waves. On the right is nice promenade with many hotels and restaurants. Although quite touristy, it is a very charming place.

Well, and this is the coast of the town of Hermanus at sunset, I also wrote about it once (and I hope to do at least one more post). There is a very beautiful rocky coast there and a big bonus — when walking along the coast, in some places and with some luck, you can see whales. The sky was pretty clear, the weather was fine — and how idyllic the picture immediately becomes! :)

And here we have a colony of seals enjoying the sea air. Yes, if you look closely, you can see that all the stones are covered with them resting. And only one does not sleep, peering somewhere into the distance. So they chill out near Cape Town, if I'm not mistaken, on the False Bay Seal Island Reserve and the rocks around. The weather is going bad, which is why the sky is so dark, but the sun still peeks through and illuminates the landscape.

And I'll finish for today with a sunset view of the city of Durban and Moses Mabhida Stadium from Addington Beach next to uShaka Marine World — a themed marine park with an aquarium. I haven't been to the stadium, but the park is wonderful :)

Hope you enjoyed today's selection of seascapes! The post participates in the Qurator's Photo Quest — Seascape.

It's better to watch the photo in high resolution.
