After spending some time at the Art Obsessions art gallery yesterday, I headed up the hill behind the gallery for a sunset shoot overlooking Reno, Nevada. I love this spot and the Nevada shaped horse corral in the foreground of this scene. Downtown Reno can be seen in the distance on the left, and the Rancharrah mansion and the Rancharrah Shopping Center (where the gallery is located) can be seen a bit right of center.
The sunset wasn't as explosive as I hoped it would be but it was still a nice one. I like the soft but bright pastel colors in the sky.
Of course, a little selfie while shooting....
Oh, and if you happen to be in Reno, Nevada on March 25th, there will be a fun event at the Grafted Whiskey and Wine Bar. Grafted is next door to the gallery and we will be open as well. Should be fun! (ticket info)
