Longwood Gardens Visit Part IV!

Beautiful place to visit any time of the year. You can pretty much go every day and see different flowers, it never gets old. My recent visit makes me wish I lived closer to be able to enjoy this amazing place more often. It's also very kid friendly place. There is a separate garden outside for little people to run around as well as a place inside the conservatory so if you have small children they won't be bored.

The greenhouse garden features tropical plants, especially bromeliads, set amid cascading streams in a greenhouse roughly 40 by 50 feet at the western end of the 3.5-acre conservatory complex. Bromeliads, which include such plants as pineapples and Spanish moss, absorb moisture through hairlike scales covering their leaves.
