Librarians and Statistician of the World ...
Beware the Wind & Librarians Promising Freedom
The book lost its leaves
When the wind broke its spine
The librarian cried be free
The libertarian said shush
Whereas our poor little book
Was left permanently dumb
Lying in its own detritus
If you pick and choose the information you hi-light or even sometimes how you present and collate that information to lead to conclusion, you are engaged in misinformation. This is something the "Trust the Science' folks don't understand.
Selection bias is virtually undetectable to pick up from a finished study based on graphs and charts alone. Ancel Keys did this with the fat and heart health study. Studied 22 countries; did not find the correlation he was looking for; and so removed 2/3 of his data from the study and voila, he 'proved' his hypothesis. Whereas the study he conducted did not. Look at the damage this has done to the health of the western world. The maligning of natural fats and cholesterol and the emphasis of carbohydrates has created the obesity pandemic that also puts one at a much higher risk from C-19 complication.
Everything is connected.
Presented data sets also say nothing about study design. Were all confounders kept constant; were all confounders even recognized? Most people know so little about the scientific method but love authority.
Then there is just lying with statistics. You may wish to watch this video.
We really have no idea the risk from C-19, except to know that it is MUCH lower than reported and that there are indeed positive health steps just about anyone can take to mitigate that risk.
And certainly, since we understand the mechanism of pathology, there are multiple treatments available for people and depending on risk factors, not all treatments are as effective as others or even ethical ... they would actually increase your risk of negative health outcomes.
No forced/coerced medical treatment is ethical and certainly not irreversible ones.

What Trickled Down
they mess with you
the yella-bellies
whirled up
in a wild war dance
a wise man
watches his step
masters standing stock still
nothing out of the ordinary here
that way they pass by
but no, you had to have your say
now, you’d need a surgeon
to disentangle your hooked tongue
from the side of your fatty cheek
there’s a mob of them
more than a million irregulars
filed up against you
flashing placards in the sharp sunlight
lobbing curses and threats
exhaling groans and sobs
condemning your alpha ways
you disenfranchised the beta
but he’d have given you mercy
these omegas, they have none
there’s no changing the mind
of the entitled suspicious
the pampered narcissist
the imagined martyred
this AI is programmed
to destroy its maker
its maker sliced up his salvation
served it up
to fatten his destroyer
they’re amassing
a wired crucifix
size fits you
a wicker hair-shirt
for the carnage you cut
and what trickled down
Lasting change is always married with choice, compassion, and reason.

The greatest of trees
Grew without interference
Buried by time
From seed to sprout
Before it grew tall
It invested in roots
Fed on what had lived before
Before it grew tall
It grew wide and lush
Knowing stability is needed
For growth to be maintained
From there it sought the light
Interference to see things
As one would have them
An attempt to outdo time
Stunts and destroys growth
The master knows
When pursuing growth
She need only allow
Nature and time to do its work
