With only one week to go before April, the cherry blossoms are finally making their appearance. I am not sure what cultivation variety this is ... thinking perhaps a Japanese Dwarf variation.

The Maple flower are out too. Things are all shifted and mixed up. Normally the maple goes to flower decidedly after our cherry, but not this year. I imagine that some flowers depend on temperature and other the length of day.

You never know who or what you might come across in the West End. Little Blue Froggy has definitely seen better days but still pulls off the lady in recline with aplomb. Perhaps it is the bedraggled ribbon in her threadbare hair.

See you never know when the world may drop something new and wonderful right in your path. Pink Martini is new to me but a pleasant musical discovery. A strangely apropos arrival for the onset of the cherry blooms.

Everything is turning pink, pink, pink ... before it takes flight in the wind. Wishing you a dreamy and rose coloured spring.
