Lancelin Trip!

Lancelin is a small town about a two hour drive north of Perth in Australia. Mainly known for its awesome sand dunes, the area is great to get away from things and have a good time :) Myself and three other lads (my mates Rylan, Brock and Luca) went up and stayed in a family shack on the beach for a few days, filmed a video and got some awesome shots! Here's what we got up to.

Turns out the shack is fully decked out, a two room building with a stove, oven, beds, a fridge that we couldn't get to work, board games, surfboards, and lots of other things.

The first day, after we unpacked everything we headed off to the beach for a surf and an amazing sunset. This was actually the first time any of us had 'surfed' emphasis on the apostrophes, where our first time mainly consisted of us getting smashed by three metre dumpers, and our strapless boards being swept a solid 40 metres back to shore. I did manage to stand up for the first time and mannnnnn it was awesome. I reckon we tried surfing for 3 hours - 2 of those spent was us getting smashed by the waves, an hour walking back to shore to get our boards, and about 4 seconds of actually surfing. And it was so good.

Day two was spent at 'The Pinnacles' - thousands of rock formations in the middle of the desert an hours drive or so north from where we were staying. Crazy place, and another amazing sunset.

And some photos from day 3: Watched the sunrise from the dunes, did some longboarding, drone filming, and packed up.
